Renee Montgomery

Biography

Renee Montgomery played 11 seasons in the WNBA after a standout college career at the University of Connecticut, where she helped the Huskies win the 2009 NCAA championship. She won two WNBA championships with the Minnesota Lynx and earned All-Star and Sixth Woman of the Year honors during her professional career.


After sitting out the 2020 WNBA season to focus on social reform and justice, Montgomery returned for the 2021 season and joined the Atlanta Dream ownership group. She currently serves as Partner and Vice President and has expanded her work into sports media, entrepreneurship, and entertainment.
